Several years ago Danny and Mike put a bit of time into searching for and finally finding the cave in Seal Cove on Santa Cruz Island. Subsequently there have been many dives and even a map made of this cave during a Nat Geo trip in 2019

This cave is a shallow breakdown entrance with three known chutes that cover about 1000' of known passage. One of the shallow side mount only passages has a dry sump with continuing passage after that which has never been explored. 

Trips to Danny's Cave would always be planned for two dives with lunch in between. All divers need to be full cave certified with good buoyancy control as the bottom in the cave can be extremely silty similar to the caves in Mexico.

There is also a project to search for and document a reported connector passage between Seal Cove and Painted Cave that has never been found
